Nigerian midfielder Uche Agbo has joined Belgian club Standard Liege from English Premier League side Watford for £2.13m.
Agbo, who had a loan spell at Granada last season, signed a three-year deal with the Belgian side.
The 21-year-old international had a difficult time securing a work permit in the United Kingdom, forcing Watford to sell him.
Standard Liege will open the new season’s campaign on Sunday and the Nigerian says he is happy to be part of the squad.
“The offer was very tempting and I am delighted I have a job for the next three years,” he told the press on Tuesday.
